The importance of spiritual protection: Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you. Proverbs 4:6

The Bible teaches us that just as money is necessary because it is a form of material protection, wisdom is also necessary because it is spiritual protection. The blessed life needs both, the abundance of physical goods and the abundance of spiritual goods. Acquiring riches without wisdom is like building a house without a foundation, at the first storm the house collapses; wisdom is the spiritual cornerstone of man, in other words, man should not build anything without wisdom. Wisdom is the knowledge of the correct means to live.
Remember that the man is body, soul, and spirit: "May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless" 1 Thessalonians 5:23. Man is a balance between the physical and the spiritual. That's why the Bible says: "Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves those who have it" Ecclesiastes 7:12.
There is a wisdom that comes from experience, this is the wisdom of the world, for example the housewife is wise in the home; but there is a wisdom that is inspired and this is the one that comes from God, this wisdom gives us spiritual guidance and protection, points us to the right path and warns us in advance of obstacles, about this the Bible says: "Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you" Proverbs 4:6
Wisdom is of great importance as a spiritual gift because wisdom is accompanied by immortality: "Reflecting on these things, and considering in my heart that immortality lies in kinship with wisdom" Wisdom 8:17. Immortality as a gift can be interpreted in the Bible as longevity, the spiritual gift of health. That is why it is said that the goal of wisdom is also to prolong the life of man. An analysis of this topic is the parable of the rich fool in the gospels (Luke 12:13-21), Jesus tells us the story of a man who had great wealth, but who had no wisdom and God claimed his life, and in the end everything he accumulated was for other people.
