Belong to the wise person to order
Between the famous quotes known from the classical authors distinguish: "It belong to the wise person to order" Aristotle comment to us. The wise order because by capturing the wisdom through the understanding or gift of knowledge, act with rectitude.
The wise by the love for the virtue, order by the perfection of the virtue itself, the perfect virtue (spiritual gifts) is ordered to the supreme good of the universe.
From another point of view, we can say that order is an effect of the Charity, that is, the wise person seeks, through the love for the virtue, the charity, the perfection and the order is one of these perfections.
Aristoteles explains: we call wisdom the science of the truth, Book II c 1; in Book III c2 continues: "as far as it has been defined as the science of the first causes and of the knowable by excellence it is just as well that the science of the substance be the wisdom "
Tomas Aquinas teach in the Summa Teologiae, Question 1 A6: "corresponds to the wise man to direct and judge and his judgment is based on the highest cause of everything inferior. And in human life the wise man is called prudent for guiding human action to its own end".
Recall that the wise man is the adult man. Wise is the man who does the right thing because it is right or in other words is the person who do the good because it is the good.
Tomas Aquinas relates the order with the divine providence. The Wise order with an end in view, which is the Divine Providence. Thomas Aquinas clarifies "Nobody gets corrupted in the hands of a Wise".
Act like a wise is to act selflessly, following the order for which the things were arranged. Every being tends to its own good or perfection Thomas Aquinas comments us.
A wise man attends to the natural development of things, works for the improvement of the Universe and after that order everything to the Providence.
We are called to be perfect as the Father is perfect, Matthew 5:48; or to say to be wise as God is wise.
